World Class Soccer Camps are designed to teach young boys and girls (Ages 4 to 12) the fundamentals, skills and techniques to play effective soccer.  Our camps are designed for beginners, intermediate players, and even experienced players.  All beginners, YMCA, Recreational and Select Players are welcome to participate.  Effective techniques will be taught to campers which will benefit them no matter what team they play for, or which league they are involved in.  

 

Parents of campers, as well as coaches, are welcome to observe camp coaches’ techniques and drills; which can later be applied individually or with their respective teams throughout the year.  These young campers will also be taught speed, quickness and agility techniques which crossover to all sports they participate in.  Most importantly, World Class Soccer Camps will build confidence in their players and help them to develop a “love for the game”.

 

Over the last 15 yrs, World Class Soccer Camps have identified at a young age, and helped develop and shape, many of the top local players that have gone on to great heights in the US Soccer Community including:

 

  • Madison Haley - Current scholarship player at Stanford, State Championship at Ursuline, US National Team player.

  • Savanna Jones - Current scholarship player at Texas Tech.

  • Rachel Wasserman - Named 2018 Top High School player for the state of Texas, 5A State Championship while at Highland Park, current scholarship player at Penn State.

  • Frances Ann Matise - Won 5A state championship while at Highland Park

  • Mateo Means - Won 6A state championship while at Dallas Jesuit, current scholarship player at St. Mary's in Minnesota.

  • EmJ Cox - Player Pool with the US Women's National Team, won USYS National Championship in the U-13 age group and the 2019 US Soccer DA U16/17 National Championships. Committed to a soccer scholarship to the University of Texas while only being a sophomore in HS.

  • Lola Stanley - Won USYS National Championship in the U-13 age group (selected to BEST XI) and 2019 US Soccer DA U16/17 National Championships. Committed to a soccer scholarship to the University of Texas as an 8th grader.

Camp Curriculum

Camp Activities:

  • Speed, Quickness & AgilityTraining will be taught daily

  • Small-sided games with be conducted throughout the week in order for campers to display their skills learned and put them to use

  • Daily, at the end of camp, contests will occur and awards will be given (t-shirts, juggle balls, etc…)

  • Trapping

  • Tackling

  • Heading

  • Crossing

  • Defending & Attacking

  • Ball Fakes and Moves

  • All Skill Levels & Beginners Welcome: Boys & Girls – Ages 4 to 12 

  • Location: The JCC - Dallas (7900 Northaven Rd, Dallas, TX 75230) (Map)

  • Backup facility secured in case of inclement weather

  • Time:  9:30am – 12:30pm, Monday – Friday

  • 1 Session:

    • Spring Break Session 1:  March 11-15, 2024

      • Price: $275 

  • 4 Sessions:

    • Summer Session 1:  June 3-7, 2024

      • Price: $275 

    • Summer Session 2June 17-21, 2024

Please send your Camper with the following daily:

  • a soccer ball

  • plenty of water/Gatorade/etc.

Todd Wallace

Current Director of Coaching for the Dallas Cosmos Soccer Club ♦ USSF licensed coach ♦ Over 20 years coaching experience in North Texas and Oklahoma ♦ Former Professional player with Oklahoma City Heat Soccer Club, (U.S.I.S.L. 1990-1996) ♦ Recently inducted into the Jesuit Sports Hall of Fame (2017) ♦ Full soccer scholarship player with Oklahoma City University, (1988-1993) ♦ Inducted into Oklahoma City University Sports Hall of Fame, (2002) ♦ Inducted into Jesuit Sports Hall of Fame with it’s 1988 “Team of the Decade”, nationally ranked squad, (2005) ♦ Collegiate honorable-mention All-American , (1993) ♦ Former player with Titans ’69 club team, winners of two Dallas Cup Titles, six Classic League Titles, three Regional Championships, and McGuire Cup National Championship runners-up, (1987) ♦ O.D.P. Texas State team player 1984-1988 and O.D.P. Juani Beracochea

With and extensive coaching resume dating back to 2008, Coach Juani has held coaching positions internationally at: San Agustin El Paraiso, Academia Tricolor, Caracas Futbol Club, Carabobo Futbol Club, Academia Angel Rivillo and Saul Paulo FC here in North Texas.  Currently he is the Head Coach of multiple teams with Dallas Cosmos Soccer Club.  In addition to coaching internationally, Juani also has extensive international playing experience with: San Agustin El Paraiso, San Agustin El Marques, Centro Italo Venezolano, Galicia FC, Colegio Cristo Rey, and the Miranda State Team.

Daniel Turmero

Currently on staff as a Dallas Cosmos Soccer Club coach, Coach Daniel brings international experience as both a coach and a player.  Coaching tenure includes time with Colegio Loyola Gumilla, San Ignacio de Loyola, Universidad Central de Venezuela, as well as the Miami Storm and Pennyrile Valley Academy here in the states.  His international playing time is highlighted by his selection to the Bolivar State Team and the Venezuelan National Team
